Aeromet International Plc produce aluminium
and magnesium sand castings, conventional and SOPHIA high property
aluminium investment castings, hot forming, Superplastic forming and
diffusion bonded titanium products to the aerospace, military and
defence industries from its 4 sites in the UK.
Aeromet’s titanium
forming facility is the largest independent facility of its kind in
Europe, manufacturing over 80,000 parts per annum using more than 70
tons of titanium.
The casting division has the capability to produce
complex and technically demanding castings up to 1.5m ³ with a pouring
weight of up to 350kg
Employing over 350 people and with annual
sales in excess of £30m, Aeromet hold NADCAP, AS 9100 2000, BS EN ISO
9001 and ISO 14001 approvals, as well as approvals from many of the
world’s leading aerospace and defence companies.
Aeromet is able to supply parts from single items through to JIT/KITS of fully machined and treated components.
