LSD is part of a leading builders merchant in Sheffield with real people, vehicles, displays and stocks unlike many other online retailers. The builders merchant was founded in 2003 by Robert Pickard who has over 30 years experience in the trade. A few years later he was joined by his son David Pickard after completing his degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at University College of London, followed by a Masters in Computer Systems and Internet Technology. David quickly began selling his fathers products on eBay to a much wider market, far greater than Sheffield and saw a huge sucess . This led to him writing the code and creating LSD in 2007. From selling items stocked in the premises in Sheffield LSD then started collecting direct from Stoneflair, cutting delivery costs and increasing its product base.
