The company has an extensive production capacity, including the latest CNC piercing and CNC folding equipment. Having the latest computer controlled machines enables us to offer a fast turnaround and highly competitive prices. We also undertake all types of welding and can handle various finishing procedures, including painting, plating and silk screening.

PerlamSheetMetal undertakes small to medium volume production work on metal sheets up to 6mm thick and 2500mm wide. Using the latest CAD/CAM technologies, we are able to ensure excellent accuracy and repeatability, as well as a fast turnaround and low costs of production.
Punching operations carried out at our facility include blanking, punching and nibbling as well as dimpling and shaving. The machinery we operate is capable of up to 400 hits per minute, allowing for a high throughput on even the most densely nested sheet.

At Perlam we have been fabricating sheet metal products and components for more than 30 years. This experience means we are as capable as anybody of undertaking bespoke fabrication work in accordance with customer requirements. We are able to produce virtually anything from electronic instrument enclosures through to lighting components and custom ‘one-offs’.

At Perlam we have a heavy metal section which specialises in architectural metalwork. This includes things like garden railings, fire escapes and balconies. We can fabricate such items from mild steel, black steel or iron.

In the past we have provided metalwork for a range of clients, including homeowners, landlords, restaurants, pubs, builders and architects. We are able to fabricate and fit balustrades made with a contemporary combination of brushed stainless steel and toughened 10mm safety glass. These are made to customer specification.
Clients for such projects have included architects, builders, interior designers, shop fitters and individual homeowners. Often they have been made as part of a small/medium refurbishment project, or installed into new builds such as offices, restaurants, wine bars and retail outlets.

One of the areas in which we specialise is the design and fabrication of enclosures and cases for electronics and HVAC equipment.
