These electric rotary actuators are typically used in heavy-duty applications where reliability is paramount. The CE's electrostatic powder coated, die cast aluminium housing is both watertight and explosion proof. It also is resistant to corrosives, meeting all NEMA 4, 4x, 7 and 9 standards. Precision cut, robust and rugged steel gears convey a maximum of 1500 inch-pounds of torque from a powerful gear motor which is available in single-phase 115 and 230 Volts, and 12 or 24 Volts DC. This offers safe and accurate control of valves and dampers.

Heavy Duty Scotch Yoke Actuators from Automax are ideal for chemical processing, petrochemical processing and gasoline applications. The RG Series is an entirely modular design of scotch yoke actuator. The RG models - from RG1 to RG8 -have a torque range of 2000Nm to 250,000Nm (2,800 in-Lbs to 2.2 M in-Lbs), and a maximum actuator torque and mounting base which is fully ISO 5211 compliant.
