Reclaimed Products

Bowller Roofing Contractors specialise in the supply of re-claimed materials. Currently extremely popular not only from an environmental point of view, but the character-full finish and rustic look of re-claimed materials makes every installation entirely unique. It often helps to blend new repairs or extensions in to match existing work, and is also much sought after for use in conservation areas or places of heritage. 
 
Our re-claimed materials are available in each branch, which stock local materials specific to that area. Each of the products has been sorted and checked, and stacked into crates ready for easy delivery to clients. Roof Trusses

Trussed rafters are an extremely cost-effective solution for the roofing industry, using as much as 40% less timber than traditional cut roofs. Pre-fabricated trusses are particularly popular with new build housing projects, and for creating loft conversions in existing properties. Our trussed roofing options are an ideal option, as they offer many more possibilities for different roofscape designs. They are also fast, easy to install and highly reliable, saving money and time. 
 
Our trusses use TR26 strength graded timber for rafters and ceiling joints, and C16 for internal webs. Choose from King Post, Queen Post, Fink, Howe, Fan, Double W, Cantilever or Bobtail/Stub End designs. Click on the link to view the different options.

Ecojoists

The innovative Ecojoist flooring systems consists of parallel stress graded timbers that are joined together with ‘v’-shaped engineered steel webs. They are up to 40% lighter, and are made to measure. This reduces waste, and the clever open web design means there is no need to match or drill for pipes and cables. The system saves time, by reducing fixing time by up to 60%, which also reduces costs. Ecojoists are fully compatible with traditional timber joists, and can be designed to sit in a web of steel, and can span further than traditional timber joists. Thermafleece Original

Look no further than Bowller Roofing Contractors for all your roof insulation needs. We are proud to supply and install THERMAFLEECE Original – the high-density, high-performance insulation made from British sheeps’ wool. Containing 85% wool and 15% polyester binding made from a high recycled content, it is an effective and environmentally friendly solution. 
 
THERMAFLEECE Original can be used in roofs, walls and floors to prevent draughts, keep warmth within the house, assist with sound insulation and prevent heat from escaping. It is long-lasting, safe to handle and can even act as a moisture buffer and indoor pollutant absorber. Made from sustainable sources within the UK, it is BBA approved and could bring your energy costs down considerably. It is supplied in 1200mm length slabs in thicknesses of up to 100mm to fit between joists, rafters and stud walls.

Thermafleece PB20

Bowller supply and install the innovative THERMAFLEECE PB20 insulation – a compressed packed insulation that is perfect for fast and easy installation into walls, floors and roofs. It is made from 60% British wool, 30% recycled polyester and 10% polyester binder from a high recycled content, making it very environmentally friendly. 
 
As it is compressed, THERMAFLEECE PB20 is easy to store and reduces transportation volumes by almost 50%. It returns to its original thickness once unpacked, to provide a safe, effective and exceptional thermal and acoustic insulation for any home or office. It can also help to regulate moisture indoors, and trap any potentially harmful airborne chemicals. Made in the UK, BBA-approved and from sustainable sources, it comes in widths of 370 and 570mm, in thicknesses of 55mm, 70mm, 100mm and 150mm. Thermafleece Hemp

THERMAFLEECE Hemp is a fantastic, new way of insulating walls, floors and roofs using a highly sustainable product. Hemp is an exceptionally fast-growing, low-impact plant with fibres that are ideal for insulation. THERMAFLEECE Hemp is made from 60% hemp grown in the UK, together with 30% recycled polyester and a 10% polyester binder made from recycled content. It is safe, long-lasting, efficient, environmentally friendly and easy to install in rafters, joists and stud walls, to provide excellent acoustic and thermal insulation. It also helps to absorb moisture in the building.
