Company Description
We offer a large range of high quality bespoke wood flooring, and our decades of timber industry experience enable us to help you find the ideal wood flooring solution. We can supply, install and finish new flooring or provide expert advice on the refurbishment of existing wood floors. We source our timber from sustainable, properly managed forests around the world, and we can find exactly the wood you require. We are not tied into any one mill or timber company, so we are able to provide completely independent advice to ensure you have the best possible wood flooring and value for money.

Light Wood Floors

Ash is a hardwood that is somewhat softer than oak or elm, but durable enough for domestic and commercial flooring. It is a durable and stable wood and does well with oils, polyurethanes and light-coloured stains.

Beech is a very hard-wearing wood, but dimensional stability is not its strongest trait. Oil, stains and polyurethane finishes all work well with beech.

Maple is very durable, hard-wearing, and stable. It works well with polyurethanes and oils, but it is not ideal for staining.

Pine is very dimensionally stable softwood that is normally available in long lengths and wide boards. It is durable enough for most domestic flooring use, and works well with staining.

Medium Wood Floors

Oak is highly stable, very strong and durable. It works well with all finishes, especially staining.

Teak's high oil content makes it suitable for use indoors or outdoors. It is a very dense, hard-wearing and stable wood.

Birch is stable and durable, and lovely when oiled. It is slightly softer than elm, but is harder than Eastern White Pine.

Elm is a very durable, highly stable wood that is a good choice for shock resistance. It works well with polyurethane and oil, but is not suitable for staining.
