These large, magnetic based
components with a clamping force of 110n/cm2 are used for mounting all Faro Arm
Modules to tools, surface plates, and other ferrous surfaces.
They
include a 3 1/2" ring on the top for mounting and a tool to turn the magnet on
and off. This is done by placing the tool in the hole in the side of the mount,
and turning it clockwise 180 degrees to activate the magnet, and
counter-clockwise 180 degrees to deactivate it. High force 6" Magnetic Mounts
come complete with a special purpose carry case. If you would like to find out

Manchester Metrology offers numerous subcontract services. Our experts can come
to your site and measure products using the Faro Arm and Cam 2 measuring
software, which makes inspection of large or small products quick and simple. As
well as Faro Arm Inspection, Manchester Metrology can undertake Faro Gauge
Inspection, and we can also use the Faro Laser Tracker to measure virtually
anything, from boats and ships to radar assemblies. Trackers are used to inspect
the largest of parts. If you would rather undertake these inspections yourself,
Manchester Metrology can provide full, onsite training in Faro Arm, Gauge and
Laser Tracker inspection.
