Piston Seals

We supply a comprehensive range of piston seals. Piston seals are mounted on to the piston head which then moves through the bore of a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder tube. The piston seal creates a seal between the piston and the cylinder. Our range spans piston seals for split and solid pistons, double (designed for pressure from both sides) and single acting (designed for pressure from one side only), metric or imperial and telescopic. Piston seals combined with bearings, housing, piston tolerances and surface finishes will reduce leakage and improve the efficiency of the system. 

Rod Seals

Rod seals are also known as gland seals, headbush or neck seals. They are designed to seal between the rod and the gland (headbush) and prevent fluid from leaking out of the system as the rod moves back and forth. Rod seals are critical components for all types of fluid power equipment. We supply various different types of rod seals in many different materials, sizes and styles to suit a wide range of industry applications. Wiper Seals

The role of the wiper seal is to prevent contamination of the hydraulic system. Wiper seals or scraper seals can also have secondary functions such as a harder scraping lip to remove contaminates such as bonded dirt, frost or ice or a secondary lip to capture excess oil. The use of a high quality wiper seal is essential for extending the life of the system. We supply a wide range of wiper seals including all the common seals as well as more obscure types too. Bearing Seals

Bearing rings are used to prevent contact between two dynamic surfaces and prevent wear and also to protect the seals from ‘dieseling’. We supply a wide range of high quality bearing rings that are available in various materials such as polyacetal, fabric reinforced phenolic resin, fabric reinforced polyester resin, PTFE, and glass-fibre reinforced polyacetal. Flexi Seals

Flexi seals have been designed for use in demanding environments where continuous seals are not effective. PTFE has widely been the answer although has no memory and requires an energizing component such as an O-ring to enable it to seal properly. The downfall of this is that in some extreme conditions the elastomer energizer can drastically reduce the working range of the PTFE. The Flexiseal® system, however, provides an excellent solution. The system replaces the elastomer energizer with an energizing spring to enable a greater range of chemical and thermal properties of the PTFE to be used. Flexiseals® are also available in UHMW-PE.

Static Seals

Static seals are used when there is little or no motion of the mating assembly parts upon the seal. Static seals include O-rings and back-up rings, flange seals and bonded washers. We provide a wide range of static seals to suit all kinds of industry applications. Bespoke Kits

If your application/machinery requires seal kits that fall beyond our standard ranges we are also able to create bespoke kits that are customised to suit your requirements. Industrial Kits

We stock a range of non OEM replacement industrial seal kits for Parker, Hydro-line and Miller. These kits feature metal piston rings, rod and piston kits with or without the piston/gland and are available in both nitrile and viton. Our sales team will ask you for your seal kit number or the individual seal sizes. 

Express Seals

We are often asked if we can supply new, specific seals in faster turn-around times and the answer, is of course, yes we can. We use in house seal maker machines to create high quality sealing solutions in excellent turn-around times. Seals larger than 600mm can take a little longer but we will let you know when you order so that you know exactly when to expect your seals. Our express seals can be manufactured from a range of materials in a range of profiles which can be viewed on our website. Cylinder Parts

Our cylinder parts are easily interchangeable with similar products to aid the smooth running of various systems. We are regularly developing all of our ranges to ensure that we are able to meet the needs of our customers. We have therefore recently added various heavy duty components to our standard range of cylinder parts. This means our range now covers 30mm up to 250mm. O-Ring Kits

As a non-OEM manufacturer we supply an assortment of 0-rings for emergency situations. Our range includes Maxi-Kits that carry hundreds of o-rings in various sizes and cross sections, Flange Maintenance Kits that carry a range of flange seal sizes as well as D-rings, boss rings and bonded washers, Splicing Kits that include 14 one-metre lengths of nitrile cord, knife, glue and measuring tape to create individual o-ring sizes, and Carry Tech Kits that hold more than 100 o-rings in a range of sizes. The Carry Tech Kit can be easily transported from job to job or mounted for easy access. 

Tape Cutte

Our PTFE tape cutter provides a perfect, clean cut each time. The tape cutter is ideal for cutting PTFE tape up to 30mm wide and the cutting blade is easy to replace. 

Fitting Tool Kit

We also provide a Fitting Tool Kit which features four installation tools for rod diameters of 22mm – 165mm and suitable for use with most sealing materials including polyurethane, rubber and PTFE.
