Commspec began trading in 1983. The Company was one of the first
Maxon dealerships in the UK (1984) and has also been a long
established Tait dealership (1986). The premises at Llan Coed
Court include reception, administrative office, workshops,
stores and a vehicle fitting bay.
The Company operated a quality system to ISO9002 for some
years and this has now been upgraded to the current
ISO9001:2000. The quality system has also been awarded the
two-way radio industry's own standard, the 'Radio Quality
Assurance Scheme' (RQAS). Technical staff are fully trained on
all the products supplied and regularly attend factory up-date courses
on newly introduced products.
We supply and service two-way radio equipment from the leading manufactures including Motorola, Kenwood, HYT, Entel, Vertex Standard, Maxon and Icom.
A comprehensive range of handportable and mobile equipment
is available for both short-term and longer hire periods.
Hire charges cover the cost of licensing for equipment hired out for a period of less than twelve months.
Our workshops are fully equipped with the latest radio test
equipment which, as part of our Quality System, is regularly
calibrated by the manufacturers to standards which are
traceable to national standards.
Office hours:
Monday to Thursday, 8.55am to 4.55pm.
Friday 8.55am to 4.25pm. We are closed for Lunch between 12.30 and 1.15pm daily.
We are also closed on Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year.
