Quicksilver Boats

Working in collaboration with some of the best and most knowledgeable designers, engineers and architects from the Brunswick Group, the Quicksilver line has developed into two ranges; Captur (also known as the Pilothouse and Fish) and Activ. The Captur/Pilothouse is a high specification boat that is ideal for fishing or days out and offers an enjoyable on the water experience at a reasonable price. The Activ arrange is incredibly versatile and comprises of boats that are suitable for sports, as day boats, overnighters or cruisers. All Quicksilver boats boast a length to beam ratio that is the best in class and also offers increased stability. The hull has been designed in a deep V form so that it can effectively and easily cut through the water.

Smartliner Boats

The Smartliner range is the brainchild of the Smartliner Boat Company, founded in 2009 by a team of experienced boat designers. The Smartliner range offers a fishing/launching boat that is cost effective to run. The Smartliner has a hull designed to perform with lower horsepower engines and the boats come with a selection of standard equipment and the option to add more equipment as needed.

Mariner Engines

At RIBS Marine we stock a wide range of Mariner Engines that are world renowned for their ease of use, reliability, longevity and noise reduction as well as offering unparalleled corrosion protection. We carry the leading Fourstroke range that provides quiet and smoke free running as well as smooth control at all levels of horsepower, from the lightweight 2.5hp engine all the way through to the powerful new 150hp option. For a supercharged version of the Fourstroke, the Verado offers the ultimate in boating pleasure, whilst the celebrated OptiMax are fuel efficient engines of 75hp to 115hp and are deemed to be one of the world’s best direct fuel injection systems.

Mercruiser Engines

MerCruiser provide a comprehensive range of gasoline sterndrive products, including the most popular sterndrive in the world, the Alpha One and the highly coveted Bravo series. The Alpha One is a value for money drive that is designed for single or twin applications with a speed of up to 65 mph and with gas engines of 300hp maximum, whilst the Bravo One offers the best-in-class performance for single, twin or triple applications. Other drive systems in collection are the Bravo-Two, which is suitable for big cruisers and houseboats and the Bravo Three, a twin prop that provides best-in-class shifting and precise manoeuvrability.

Mercury Engines

Mercury Engines offer the user an easy to own and operate system that also runs cleaner and quieter whilst providing a smooth and responsive level of performance. The Mercury range has the largest choice of Fourstroke EFI power that starts with a lightweight 2.5hp Fourstroke engine and goes right the way up to the brand new 150hp Fourstroke. We also carry both the full OptiMax range of engines from 75hp to 125hp as well as the powerful Verado Outboards in 150hp to 350hp. All of the Mercury Engines are built to last and offer a superb level of reliability and performance.

Yanmar Engines

The Yanmar Marine philosophy on building engines has remained unchanged since its inception in 1912. Yanmar aim to manufacture engines that have “more power and less weight”. Their diesel engines are always designed to be kinder to the environment and release low emissions. Their innovative designs produces diesel engines that are small, lightweight, quiet, yet are still robust and provide optimum performance levels. The Yanmar range of engines can be used for both leisure and commercial pursuits and start from as little as 9hp – 29hp in the GM-YM Series and go right up to the SY Series of 720hp to 900hp engines.

At RIBS Marine, we offer our customers access to our parts website, where they can register and search for parts for all the brands that we hold in stock;  Mariner, Mercury, MerCruiser and Yanmar. Customers have the choice of placing their order online or calling us directly, all you need to know is your model and serial number so that we can easily help you find the right part for your engine.

Brokerage

RIBS Marine also provides a useful brokerage service that deals in both used and stock boats that offers boating enthusiasts a cheaper alternative to buying a boat brand new. Our brokerage service specialises in ribs, fishing and power boats of up to 40ft and we are listed on all of the leader brokerage sites. Although we always sell both used and stock boats in good faith, we always recommend that the customer has an independent survey carried out on the craft and engine.
