Engineering Solutions, based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire has been operating since the mid 1980s and provides an extensive range of technical solutions to all kinds of engineering and electronic problems. Its team of versatile engineers are leaders in test engineering and specialise in over moulding services. A range of MoldMan machines and mould tools for in-house manufacturing can also be supplied to customers.

Engineering Solutions is pleased to be able to undertake high volume projects as well as small or unique batches. Modules and Adaptors

We supply a range of modules and adapters. These include:

• Tile modules: these are automatic modules for use on a touch table. When the cable passes, the connector automatically releases. The interface wiring is housed below the modules.
• Block Modules: These would be used on an easy-wire test table. They have a manual release.
• Push-back module: This is a fully automatic module. The connector is inserted into the module and if continuity passes then the rear part drives forward to push the pins out of the connector. Any that are not latched cause a failure of the test.
• Cirris Test Table: The squares on this harness test table can be customised with connectors, indicators, switches and other instrumentation which are wired to an internal test interface.

Over Moulding

There are many benefits to using a low pressure, over moulding tool. Ultimately, it can improve product performance and raise profits. Low pressure, over moulding is being used by mechanical and electrical industries to improve reliability and reduce manufacturing times.

Here at Engineering Solutions, we work with customers to create suitable mould tools for their requirements. We create designs related to the temperature range, dimensions and substrates required and then translate the design into a mould tool.
