Precision Machining and Press Tools
Over many years, Westley Engineering has developed its own in-house precision machining
facility, acquiring unmatched expertise in the techniques of wire erosion and spark
erosion, as well as high precision CNC machining. We now offer these services to
our clients on a sub-contract basis, producing high precision machined components
in small batches as well as one-offs.
Contract Pressings
Whether your requirements are for high or low volumes,
complex or simple pressed components, single or multi-stage presswork or for extreme
precision machining, Westley Engineering is ready to meet them. Our new, purpose-built
factory includes a press shop with capacity up to 160 tonnes. We also provide a
range of additional operations such as drilling, tapping and machining, together
with assembly and packaging of components. Our clients include the Automotive, Aerospace,
Batteries, Air Conditioning, Window Hardware and Electronics industries, to name
just a few. We work in mild steels, stainless steels and a wide range of non-ferrous
metals including nickels, coppers, brasses and phosphor bronze.
