Jocelyn Burton Ltd

Jocelyn Burton, a goldsmith and silversmith of world renown, has been creating beautiful pieces in precious and non-precious metals and stones since 1968.  Since being awarded the De Beers International Diamond Award whilst only 21 and still a student, she went on to win an impressive number of awards, including the UK Jewellery Award, British Jewellers Association Design Award, World Council Design Award and a second award from De Beers.  She was the first woman to be awarded the Prince Phillip City and Guilds Gold Medal for achievements in silversmithing.  From individually designed tableware to lighting and architectural fittings and exquisite jewellery, pieces from Jocelyn Burton Ltd are always elegant – from the lavish and opulent to items of classical artistry.  Working closely with other master craftsmen, Jocelyn pushes the boundaries of design and technology to produce pieces that have pride of place in private homes, palaces and exhibitions throughout the world.

Designs

Jocelyn Burton starts the design process by producing detailed designs on paper.  These intricate designs are then reproduced precisely to achieve each unique piece.  So beautiful are the original drawings, they are considered works of art in their own right and clients are given the drawing on completion of the project.  These are then often displayed alongside the completed piece.  Take a look at some of the drawings and completed pieces on our website to comprehend the true quality of Jocelyn’s work.

Jewellery
