Related Fluid Power Ltd; created in 1975 by David Spittle, was one of the first companies to introduce the screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve concept to the UK market.
We started business with only 3 types of cartridge size for 40 lpm at pressures up to 200 bar, but we now have an extensive portfolio with over 500 types of cartridges with a variety of options to suit flows of <1-300 lpm at pressures up to 420 bar.
We brought our machining in-house in 1989 with our first C.N.C./Manual tool change milling machine, we now have six C.N.C. machining centres including a 18 pallet Mazak flexible maunfacturing horizontal machine centre & a further 24 pallet Dual CNC Mazak flexible maunfacturing horizontal machine centres supported by a fully equipped machine shop, which in turn has the backing of our 38 strong team of design engineers and machine tool operators.
We deliver high quality, standard or custom designed, cost effective hydraulic manifold controls and power packs, to ensure this level of service we are constantly reviewing and improving our Quality and Management System for effectiveness.
Our technical sales engineers cover mainland UK and Ireland, forming strong working relationships with our customers, to ensure that from the early stages of sales and design through to production and test, the finished products satisfy all our customers' needs and requirements.
