Northumberland Wildlife Trust is the largest voluntary organisation caring for wildlife in Northumberland Newcastle upon Tyne and North Tyneside.
For over 40 years we have campaigned for nature conservation and helped to inform educate and involve people of all ages in protecting their environment.
Thanks to the support of our members and volunteers the Trust manages and protects critical habitats at over 60 nature reserves across the region. These contain some of the largest numbers of species in the country which everyone can enjoy through our policy of open access for all.
Urban and rural communities are encouraged to take an active role in conservation through educational and voluntary activities that enable wildlife and wild places to thrive for generations to come.
